Homoeopath
I have been practising as a Homoeopath for over twenty years. Prior to this I was a teacher working in Special Education. During my years in homoeopathic practice I have witnessed a growing interest and demand for Homoeopathy as the public have become more aware of this system of medicine.
My work with Homoeopathy has included teaching and supervising students at various Homoeopathy colleges; and contributing to several books on Homoeopathy and health.
My aim with Homoeopathy is to enable my patients to achieve and maintain a greater level of health along with an increased sense of well-being.
What is Homoeopathy?
Homoeopathy is a system of medicine that helps the body to heal itself. A homoeopathic consultation focuses on the whole person and enables the homoeopathic medicines (known as remedies) to be selected on the basis of all aspects of the patient and his or her symptoms. This means that each treatment, like each person, is unique.
People consult me for a wide range of complaints which may be short-term or chronic, physical or emotional.
Homoeopathic remedies are non-addictive and have no dangerous side effects. They can be used during pregnancy, for babies, children and the elderly.
The remedies come in tablet or liquid form. You may be given just one tablet, or a few drops daily.
My Practice
The initial consultation takes up to an hour and a half and enables me to gain a full picture of you, and the unique way in which your symptoms affect you. Follow-up appointments (30-45 minutes) are usually at monthly intervals.
Some patients use Homoeopathy alongside orthodox medicine whilst others choose it as the primary source of healthcare for themselves and their families.
I am available for telephone advice between appointments for the treatment of acute illness and any queries that may arise.
I offer a free fifteen-minute appointment for those wanting to know more about homoeopathic treatment.
